1966 25 ‘ LYMAN CRUISETTE             $39,500    

This beautiful Lyman was completely restored in 2012 by Androscoggin Wooden Boat Works and has been meticulously maintained to date.   Prior to 2012, it had not been in the water for 20 years.

 Restoration:  Bottom completely re-fastened below water line, New transom installed, New teak planked decks installed, Some new interior parts made, Complete strip to bare wood, Complete fairing and priming of hull sides, Show condition paint job – White, Blue top strake, Red waterline, Priming and painting of bottom w/Copper bronze anti-fouling paint, All interior parts stripped, re-stained & re-finished w/10 coats of varnish, New Fuel tank, Added low-houred fresh water cooled 318 Chrysler Detailed engine, All new wiring, New nautolex flooring throughout, New windshield/glass and rubber gaskets, New engine box, New strut framing and cutless bearing, New formica on table and counter tops, New water tank for sink, All new gauges and wiring, Deck sanded and finished with Cetal, Two bilge pumps, New exhaust fan, New and old hardware, as needed, and New transom exhaust hoses.   Original sunbrella canvas top/sides (never used) and new white seat cushions.

 June 2012 (New owner):  New Garmin hand held gps, am/fm/cd/mp3 stereo combo package, 4 orange keyhole vests and storage bag, Telescoping boat hook, Telescoping paddle/handle, Skyblazer red aerial signals w/storage bag, Horn, 4 Fenders, Anchor rope with snap shackle, Anchor 13 s with rope, 7 Dock Lines, US Yacht Ensign, Skipper clips for ensign, gps interface cable, Insulated holder, Vintage boat ladder.

 June 2014:  Boat bottom sanded and re-painted to original condition, Vetus Bow Thruster installed, White hull re-touched, minor re-caulking, Deck sanded, varnished with Cetol and 24 parts re-varnished, Joystick panel replaced, Installed 2 chrome chafe guards at fender cleats port side.

 October 2014: 3 Bilge pumps replaced, Canvas cleaned, Oil and filter changed.

 Boat has only been used on bay in Cape Cod for 3 summers:  June – August.   Fall/Winters:  Stored inside boathouse in Harwich, MA (current location) and Pressure washed, Barnacles scraped, Engine winterized, Varnish touched up where necessary, any and all minor repairs made during winter storage.  Contact:  Barbara Newman at 914-602-2740 or brn22@mac.com.
